Congratulations to the Rocky Mountain House Support, Shop and Field employees on achieving two years recordable free on April 28th.
This is quite an accomplishment when you consider that these employees provide services to existing maintenance contracts, as well as support various turnaround projects throughout the year. This group works for numerous clients over the course of the year which creates additional challenges. An employee in this group could spend half a day at one client site, then be dispatched later in the day to work for another client. Our employees need to learn different client safety systems and be able to switch gears effectively, all while maintaining the productivity levels expected of them.
Between 2015 and 2017 this group supported over 5 turnarounds in various locations in the province. A lot of the work involves driving to remote sites to do maintenance or turnaround work in Sour Facilities. There are a ton of hazards that need to be mitigated each day and we certainly rely on these men and women to ensure they make the right choices.
Thank you for your efforts and let’s continue to keep our focus on Zero!
