Quinn Contracting Ltd. is committed to ensure practical and effective procedures are in place to achieve a high standard in occupational health and safety.
We believe that all workplace injuries can be prevented, which is the basis of our Company’s Zero Injury Strategy. Every reasonable effort shall be made to eliminate hazards that can cause injury to workers or damage to property.
It is our policy to work closely with our customers to establish high standards of performance. We shall provide a workforce with the necessary skill and knowledge to ensure the preservation of the environment and the protection of all.
Each employee and subcontractor of Quinn Contracting Ltd. is expected to exert every reasonable effort to eliminate personal injury and property damage in our workplace and the communities in which we live.
Each employee and subcontractor is required to maintain a safe working environment by recognizing and correcting unsafe acts or conditions. As a result of health and safety training and personal initiative, each employee and subcontractor is expected to eliminate unsafe acts and provide leadership by counselling other workers to do the same.
Employees and subcontractors at all levels must be familiar with the requirements of the Alberta Occupational Health and Safety legislation, as it relates to their work process.
Safety is the responsibility of each and every one of us. Safety is a condition of employment and an extremely important part of our performance. All employees and subcontractors are expected to develop a “Think Safety First” attitude both on and off the jobsite. We must maintain a strong sense of purpose and persistence in accomplishing our goal of Zero Workplace Injuries.
